IMHO the speedy is too feminine. I think the vernis wallet in white is great for a guy though!
My husband thought it would be nice to buy a pink polo shirt. The first time he wore it, he got stares and rude comments. Anyway, he still wears it once in a blue moon, but I can tell he doesn't feel very comfortable in it. I just worry something similar may happen in real life to you with the speedy. But.... In the end, choose what you like.

i am ok with men carry speedies, i have seen quite a few straight men carry them(for their GF of course..). they look ok to me.So , go for it

there are lots of other great hand-held bags that are designed for men by LV for me to settle with a Speedy. i personally don't see myself carrying one, but like most have said - if you like it, why not? i wouldn't go smaller than 35 though.
