In need of a black hobo bag.. Botkier Soho Hobo?

Hi guys!

Does anyone know of a good black large hobo bag for everyday? I'm looking for a bag that's genuine leather and preferably around $100-$450.

I was looking at the Botkier Soho Hobo bag that's under $200, but it doesn't seem like there are many reviews on it. I like how it's not flashy and very simple, yet stylish. I think it can also fit a 13' laptop?

If you own this bag, can you please post a picture wearing it and list the pros/cons? It seems really cute!!

Botkier used to be great quality but that has changed. Have you looked at Rebecca Minkoff?

if 14 wide X 11 tall would be large enough you may want to look at michael kors collection Tonne hobo. the collection bags are nicer quality than the Michael by Michael Kors and you can get a nice preowned one for a reasonable price

I love Botkier and I have admired the Soho hobo bag online. I have not seen it in person. Shoulder bags/hobo bags are not my usual style but the size, zipper top, and wide opening seemed like it would be a very functional bag. And like you said, it’s stylish but not flashy.

Botkier used to have some amazing leathers but they were heavier and in recent years are using thinner, more lightweight leather. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially when carrying a heavier bag.

Botkier doesn't have much resale value. I found 3 of this bag on Poshmark so you might look there to be able to see more pictures, ask questions of the sellers, and negotiate a better deal.

Thanks girl! If I end up getting a Botkier hobo bag.. I will post a picture! They have some prices on Ebay for like $60-130. That's so true about the resale value though.. I just want a not flashy normal black hobo bag for everyday ahhh. choices.
