Scarves 'In Boutique Only' Scarves

general question, perhaps you can help me :
If I happen to find a CW of a scarf on the french website, but it says " in boutique only", is it possible to call that boutique and ask them to ship that scarf to me? Or is that unheard of?

I've done it before and had things sent directly. That said, I have not always been successful. I am located in Europe, and in the past France would forward to me directly however most recently Italy would not (they would sell it to me but only ship it to an Italian address). One of the best ways is to try to have your local boutique try to source it from any boutique in the network that would have it, however that is also an uncertain process as the boutique that has the product you're looking for can flat out refuse to send it. That has been my experience within Europe. Not sure if others have had other experiences here and, of course, the situation could be different in other regions.

I'm in Canada....I did world wide search at my store for a scarf I wanted on the French site last season (in boutique only as well). My SA managed to get it for me but I had to put a deposit down before it could be ordered.
