So the bag I am waiting for (Lo and Sons Pearl in another color besides black--hoping for Navy or Tan, or potentially another bag they might release later they year???) is not out yet, they say mid to later this year.

I am trying to avoid buying something else in the meantime that I might not use for long as a bandaid.

I love my current bag, but I need to downsize, for safety, for weight, just in general. I am debating buying something like a LeSportsac, that's "inexpensive" and light, but again, that's a bandaid. I am also debating buying a purse organizer to put inside my current bag, a Linea Pelle Dylan Medium, to at least provide some sort of organization til the bag I am holding out for comes out.

I want something that is lighter, crossbody, and big enough to hold all my crap, so about 12x12 maybe? 12x9?

Thoughts on what I should do?

If you really want to get a small bag in the meantime, then you should take advantage of all the sales going on. Are you able to wait it out until the new bag is released? I find that I end up spending more money by being impatient sometimes. It's a tough call. I'm kind of in the same boat.

As you are waiting for a bag to come out and don't know when it will be available, might as well be next month, I suggest you buy an inexpensive bag, Lesportsac , for example..[emoji6]

Thanks ladies! I got a Longchamp for a steal on Ebags (discontinued color PLUS huge memorial day discount) so I might just use that. I also have a TON of g/c burning a hole in my wallet that might go towards an MZ Wallace but since the Lo&Sons is the end goal (I just like the three sections and can't find anything high end like it), I might hold out.

I'd say get something nice that's on discount or preowned. just don't be afraid to spend a bit more than your budget because from my experience just to get something "cheap" that you don't really love as substitute is just a waste of money. better spend more and love it

or get something small that you'll use more? like a wallet or card case or coin case?

Well, I just bought an LV wallet I LOVE for my birthday. The purse was already on my mind well before that. I fell in love with this when I spotted it over a girls weekend and tried for a month to shake it. I love the size and layout bec it'll work in smaller bags.

This is 9 years later, but I just came upon a tan leather Pearl in excellent condition. I can’t decide whether to keep it or adopt it out, but it is a beauty. 😊
