Hi! I need a major help.

I really want a bright statement bag since everything I own right now are classic colours / collection. I need a wow bag that I can still carry everyday. I had a look at balenciaga they have really nice colours but I'm not a big fan of the style.

All suggestions are appreciated!

Have you thought about Kate Spade? She has some knockout colors in totes and satchels with shoulder strap options.

Ooh, bright colors, my favorite! I agree with the Kate Spade suggestion. I have a particular soft spot for the Brightspot line. Reed Krakoff, my go to, has some great options. I'm in love with his RK40s at the moment. Ferragamo has some rich jewel tones.

Any color in particular? Also, at what price point?

Maybe helen bateman--made in Spain?
Another tpf member posted(& purchased) as alternative to mulberry blossom line, also bright colors.
Like colored linings--bags are tote style.

Ok perhaps I need to be more specific. I need a bag that is pretty and bright enough but also practical to wear everywhere so perhaps something with a shoulder strap. I tend to throw my bag around so 2k to 3k will work for me. I dont want anythind under 1k as I feel like it will look tacky. Nothing overly stiff either. Colour can be anything from bright orange, yellow, lime green? I was looking at PM alma and I feel like they're too stiff and well structured to run errands with.

I second these options, BV have a current bright Signal Blue in a few models that's on sale in some places and Gucci also have a lovely burnt orange bamboo tote with dark stained handles

do you guys not think that the woven kind of make it look cheap? Ive never been sure about BV's woven leather...

On another note, wow! thank you i completely forgot about the bamboo collection from gucci!!

What are you talking about...BV's woven leathers are as luxurious as can be, IMO. Have fun picking out something!

I only have 6 BV bags, only 3 are intrecciato (woven). I've certainly never had any feedback that any look cheap - so far :D

Most of the Signal Blue I've tried on have not been intrecciato. The washed Cervo Large Hobo round and oblong are a fabulous texture, and that colour shines out. The are also at good price points compared to the intrecciatos.

Personally, I don't care for the woven leather stylistically, so I kind of understand your concern but I've heard only wonderful about the quality. In person, the craftsmanship begets a high-end feel. Needless to say, if you don't care for it, there are many alternatives.

Yes, I don't think it looks cheap, it's more about whether or not it's your style.

I second the Gucci Bamboo thought, and love the Reed Krakoff hobo colors right now. They are also a great price.

Ferragamo has some beautiful red bags, but they are more structured.
