Hey guys - I'm a bit of a newbie posting on here but I was wondering if you could help? I went into my local Harvey Nicks and fell in love with a beautiful Dionysus leather mini bag from the Gucci boutique. Decided there and then I was buying it. Got chatting to a brilliant SA chatting about all things Gucci (so naturally I was a little distracted) and she gets me a fresh bag - it was fully boxed and wrapped - never been opened and she packs it up for me all the while chatting away - and I didn't get much of a chance to look over it. Rookie mistake. I get home, take my new bag out to admire and find what look like two grooves in the bottom and what looks to be a badly finished corner! ... now am I being picky or is this totally normal for this sort of bag?

I would absolutely bring it back as both of those items are unacceptable and from my experience, they do want to know about it.

I would definitely bring it back as both of these things are unacceptable. In my experience, they would want to know about it. It's not very good quality control. Let us know how you make out.

Hi Nellians,

Just wondering how your exchange went, if you decided to go ahead with it? Am looking to buy a similar bag myself and was wondering how an exchange would go if (god forbid) I had to.

Hey All,
I'm so sorry for the delay in updating you guys on what happened. Gucci were good about giving me the option of the exchange (even if the SA didn't get what I was complaining about - tried to tell me it was normal) but they did offer an exchange... but then it turned out that they didn't have any others in stock. Long story short I decided just to refund. I am planning to get another but I think I'm going to go for the bigger size next time!
