I think this is a Hamptons hobo. Im sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong :p

I have tried everything to clean this thing and it just looks horrible.

This was my first coach bag and I didnt understand how to take care of it. So please excuse how awful it looks.

How do I clean it?

I have several bags from this line and although I haven't used most of them, I remember reading here about ivory soap and warm water. I hope someone else can chime in on this.

I dont know if this is the right thing to do. But I had a scribble print hobo bag, and I put it in the washer, and it came clean. it had mud and blood stains on it, from when I feel off my bike..

Is it the sateen fabric? I have a sateen bag that I sprayed with spray and wash (in the trigger bottle) on the spots that were dirty and it then wiped it with a white cloth, it cleaned up no problem at all. Good luck!

I have used carpet/upholstery cleaner on my Hampton's Pastel Patchwork tote. It worked wonders. You have to test a small area to make sure it doesn't fade or take the color out. I have never had a problem using it on this bag thus far. I do not put it on the suede or any of leather parts. Just the fabric.

I believe I used the woolite brand.

I washed one of these (same color) totes in the washing machine.
Came out way better than it was before the wash!
I was quite pleased.
I threw it in a pillow case and then tossed it into the washer.

I may have the before/after pics.
Lemme look...

I have put my scribble pieces in the washer before! wash them with woolite on gentle, and then roll a towel and put it inside and I wraped a towel around it for about a day to dry, took the towel out and let it hang and air dry. Just make sure to moisturize all the leather parts thoroughly, even a couple of times!

I would love to see before and after pics! I have a few pieces in this collection. Always been afraid to use them really.

^^ Thanks anyway. I thought it'd be cool to see actual pictures. I won't hesitate to buy a slightly used one now (some colors are pretty rare and are usually only found in quite stained/dirty condition).

I'd toss that bag in a laundry bag (the one's you wash your delicates in) and put it in the washing machine with some good detergent OR woolite!!!

That's my personal opinion!!! (I must admit I've never done it though!!)
