I’m trying to decide on an everyday black shoulder bag! These are my contenders:

Something without a chain strap (so it can be worn with strapless tops too), something that can be dressed up or down, has a an overall youthful vibe, easy to open/close, and can hold my phone, wallet, keys, and lip gloss at the very least.

IMO only, #1 and #2 are not youthful and they are very serious

i prefer #4 over #3, but if #3 has an adjustable strap, it might be more versatile.

I like the original loewe mini puzzle or the mens adjustable crossbody seatbelt strap saddle (no hardware)

I have #3 the black Polene Dix and love it! Excellent everyday bag if you don't have too carry a lot, which it sounds like you don't. Will easily hold the items you mention.

I guess you always wear gold jewelry? I have a black everyday bag with silver hardware (Lanvin small hook) and another with gold (Marni trunk). Some brands you might not have considered are Jil Sander, Lanvin, Marni, and Mark Cross.

#2 seems friendly for everyday. Love that it comes with thicker strap option too!

I love the #1 BV, and of the others the Polene would be my second choice. I think those 2 are the most stylish.

From the 4 bags I would say the Polêne. Easy to open with the zipper and no flap. I don't like bags with flaps for every day use.

The BV is nice, but I don't like the Intrecciato leather from BV with golden/silver details. For me a BV bag should not have any metal details - but that's just me. I don't like it. I have had a big number of BV bags from Thomas Maier, I liked them because of the gun metal details. Now I don't buy no more BV bags because of the metal details and the bigger Intrecciato leather.

I can recommend the LOEWE Flamenco bag. I think the Mini would be right for your needs. The leather is so soft and beautiful, it's easy to open with a safe magnetic clasp, the bag is so lightweight, and you can wear it from day to night. As you see I'm a big fan of the Flamenco and love that bag so much!
