This isnt a pretty picture thread yet but i wanted to share ... i just got back from the jewelers and decided on my wedding band ... its going to be platinum, low, 'novo' set with micro pave diamonds all around it (except a little gap in case it ever needs to be sized). Totaling a bit over half a carat. 
Im going to order it in a month or so ... its going to be so hard to not want to wear it before the big day!
Oh, and ive got a b'day coming up and ive always loved that Tiffany silver ring with the tiny diamond in the middle. In Australia its around $500 or something but im getting my jeweler to make it (with a bigger stone!) for only $290!! Im sure that will be more favourable to my dear boyfriend
