Food IM OFF TO FRANCE THIS WEEKEND, what french food MUST i try??

I think, as stupid as it sounds, you HAVE to have one of the hotdogs they serve from little bakeries on the streets. They are served in a baguette with french mustard (which is TDF is you like mustard!) and sometimes have cheese on them. They are soooo good.
Also, make sure you get a Croissant with Jam and butter, and have a beignet-
(I might have spelled it wrong) bascially the most awesome doughnut type thing!
Those are my touristy but delicious favorites! I always bring home a bottle of their french mustard from a supermarket because it is soooo good! Have fun!

MUAHAHAHAA THANKS FOR ALL THE IDEAS!
putting all of them together, i guess i should have...

CROSSIANTS for breakfast
FRENCH HOTDOG BAGUETTE WITH MUSTARD for lunch
MACAROONS for afternoon snack
ESCARGOTS, FOIE GRAS, STEAK FRITES for dinner
CREME BRULEE for desserts

I'LL BE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO STUFFED! hehh

im leaving tomorrow, really excited! YAY!

Go to Fauchon's in Paris. Fauchon's is a deli and restaurant.

Look in the display window first: you will see dozens of items no visitor of Paris should miss!

Definitely escargot. The snails in France feed off the grape vines (or so I was told), which is why they're so HUGE. Delicious! I had so much escargot when I went to Paris, I couldn't get enough!
