I'm not wearing any earrings today and feel so weird...

I have a wake to go to after work. This morning when I started thinking about what earrings would look good, I felt kind of weird and inappropriate even thinking about that... so I just have my wedding band and watch. Anything more than the bare minimum felt odd to me.

My mom was going to a funeral once and I asked her if she was going to wear her pearl studs... and she replied, slightly shocked, "Not to a funeral!"
And left wearing small diamond studs...

I admit to being confused...

^^ Haha! I would dare to say that old-fashioned fashion 'rules' like that just don't apply anymore.

I have been to SO many funerals where the deceased wanted people to wear bright, happy clothes...

To the OP, I also feel weird and slightly naked when I am not wearing earrings.
