i agree w/ all the lovely ladies, you should definitely call the SM back. yes, the amount of $$$ that a birkin costs these days is a bit staggering, especially for someone who's never purchased a high ticket item from hermes before.
as for whether or not you should get it is entirely up to you. after all you will be the one paying for the bag, not us.
