Hi everyone,

I first bought this bag when it first came out after seeing it in a magazine. It was created for his mother "Joan" and came out around Mothers Day.
It sat in my closet and I never used it - for some reason I felt unsure about it- maybe it seemed a bit "bulky"- I am rather petite. Long story short - I returned the bag.
Fast forward several months- I saw these marked down at some dept stores awhile back and I guess the lower price got me interested again. I tried it on and fell in love again. It is a peanut croc. which I really like. I don't have anything in a croc pattern, and the color goes well with everything.

What I like about it is that it has a full zipper all the way around- which can be hard to find on a satchel. It also has the convertible long strap which luckily detaches, since I'm short it hangs pretty low on me, but it's nice for traveling - since it allows you to be hands free.
It has tons of inside pockets- one with a zipper, and it also has an outside pocket which is nice to keep my reading glasses handy!

It mainly a hand held bag or you can carry on your arm, but I find that the handles are just long enough for me to tuck under my arm and wear as a shoulder bag too.

I'm just surprised to not see much about this bag on the forum.

I'm not sure whether this bag is now discontinued or if they cleared them out for the season.

I also love the "Joan" bag, I have it in Red, Peanut, Luggage with GHW, Slate and Black Patent Croc. I hope it is not discontinued because it is a very beautiful bag.

I'm glad to meet another "Joan" bag lover! :smile1: I love all the colors you have it in.

I'm actually contemplating getting it in other colors as well- especially if it's going to be discontinued. It seems to be a perfect size for me- not too big and not too small.

I really don't know why there doesn't seem to be that much interest in this bag- well at least on this forum. It seems very practical.

I think I'm going to return mine. I really like the bag a lot, but I just bought two other bags and one has to go back. But, I snapped a pic to add to the thread. Dusk Croco.

I know, it is really pretty. Argh! Decisions decisons. I am for sure keeping a red Rebecca Minkoff MAM that I just got. I love it. I just bought another bag that I don't have yet, so maybe I will wait until it arrives to decide for sure.

What a lucky find at Marshalls! May I ask how much they are right now?
I guess if I were you I'd keep it if it wasn't too expensive and if It's not too similar to other bags you have. Personally, I think it's beautiful, but I know how buyers remorse can be.:-s I've certainly been there myself.

TJ Maxx in my area has this bag in several colors. If anyone is looking for this bag run to TJ Maxx. I believe they are priced around $170 - $199. I Love this bag would love to buy one soon!
