My Hubby and my 25th anniversary is in October and a little birdie (My son) said he wants to get me a Kelly bag. This is overwhelming since to get one may not happen and figuring out what I would want is tricky. I know I would want the 28 centimeter with retourneau. I'm not sure of color yet as I have a Halzan in étain and I love it. Not to mention many other lovely bags ; Celine, Valentino, Givenchy, Prada, Chloe etc.... Is it pointless to even let him try to find one for me? Uuuugh

Go to your SA and they should help you make a choice based on what you like. That way, if your husband does go in to buy one, they can steer him in the right direction & just tell him the bag you chose. Hope this helps and fingers crossed you get the bag!

What's the harm in letting him try?

I don't think this is something to panic over?! It's a lovely thought and a lovely bag. Tell your son a few general colors that are missing from your bag collection in the 28cm size and let your DH try. He can always go to a reseller or ask one of your friends to help him. (Friends and husbands of friends are always asking me to help get their wives bags.)

this is such a happy event, why panic? congratulations for your quarter a century anniversary! and for having a lovely son! we might be in similar age group, myself having a son in his 20's still laughing at my orange addiction would never cross his mind contributing to it. nor my daughters......
