My testimony to Brasso: it really works!

Last week I was playing with my bags and noticed the buckle on my Rose PM had really some strange spots of discolouration. This bag is under 3 years old and my first bag to show tarnishing hw. I was excited to try out Brasso and very happy with the end result.

Here are my pics of how easy Brasso is to use - all it took was half a Qtip and a tiny spot of cream. This polish session made my Saturday lol. Hope someone finds this helpful

I use Brasso too, just gently so not to rub through the plating. Works well!

Nice job, MB !! I have some brass studs that have a bit of greenish tint from the brass on my vintage bags but I'm afraid to do anything to them, as they are very tightly embedded next to the vachetta....:confused1:

You could try surrounding the vachetta area with small towel while you work on studs, from inside out. I actually dabbed a bit of qtip on dark marking on my leather strap (under the buckle) then rinsed with soapy water. It got the mark out and didn’t damage leather so I think a tiny bit touching will be ok
