I have ALWAYS loved Coach. I’ve never been into MK or KS... I’ve always loved Coach.

I thought I outgrew the brand after getting into Louis Vuitton. I seriously never thought I would go back.

I WAS WRONG!!!

Louis Vuitton hasn’t been good to me. The canvas bags all look the same, just different shapes (after a while it becomes kind of boring), their quality is diminishing, and for it being canvas it has always pained me to pay such high amounts of money for non Leather Goods. I’ve never said that about Coach, I never felt that leaving a Coach store.

Today, I walked into Coach and bought my first bag in 5 years. It was a wonder experience. No pressure, no judgment, just good old fashion exploration of all their new LEATHER bags and at an AMAZING price point.

WELL DONE COACH!!

I bought the Parker Backpack (16). Had my initials stamped on the tag. It’s honestly worth every penny and I’m 100% satisfied with every aspect of this transaction.

I am someone that loves most brands and isn't loyal to only one brand. I love Louis Vuitton, Michael Kors, Dooney and Bourke, Coach, Modern Creation Munich, Gucci, Vera Bradley, Tommy Hilfiger, Henri Bendel, Osgoode Marley and Clava. The one brand people affiliate me with more than all the others: COACH! I always find something I love with Coach. Enjoy your renewed interest and your purchase!! I like the color very much so!

What a beautiful bag! Light pink is one of my favorite colors. I totally understand what you mean about LV, especially the canvas quality. I've had my eyes on a couple bags (Pochette Metis, Neo Noe) but part of me thinks it would be ridiculous to spend thousands on a canvas bag when every other thread I see is talking about the edges wearing prematurely or other defects. I'm very impressed with the quality of my leather Coach bags and SLGs.

I will say, I am still a LV SLG fan!!! They are great. I’ve also heard stories that while their quality seems to be going down, they do replace or repair way past the one year warranty. I don’t want to not encourage people to pursue trying the brand out. My experience is one of millions.

That said, I know what you mean about the pricing for what it is. Coach canvas is less expensive but canvas in the end to.

I find myself turned off by any canvas. LV or Coach. I’ve ALWAYS loved leather. It screams quality and durability. I can’t afford to pay 2,000 for an all leather bag from LV multiple times over though. I mean I probably could, but it’s not practical.

Coach has stepped up their game and I’m excited for their future leather goods!

You should try the 1941 bags spatially those are lined with leather.
Not all premium brand bag lined with leather. but most of the Coach 1941 collection bags do.

That's good to know! I only have the Eva clutch and a cigarette holder (used for lipsticks) from LV so I can't speak on their SLGs as those are both mostly canvas. But I know that I can get great quality leather goods at a fraction of the cost, so LV is kind of losing its appeal to me. Like you, leather will always be my favorite material when it comes to bags but none of their special leathers really speak to me. I love the look of DE and the monogram print (in small doses) but the durability of leather... Sigh.

I was eyeballing that exact bag! :) apparently there are like 5 ways you can wear it... single shoulder, cross body, backpack, front pack, and somehow you can make the straps short enough to use as a shoulder bag. Possibly more ways if you play with it. Plus the pink is beautiful! I’m kinda jealous now (I just bought two Coach bags, a wallet, a charm and a scarf so I cut myself off for now or I would have got this bag!)


Psssst....Might I suggest picking up this charm for it?? It matches perfectly and would look awesome attached on the ring where the hang tag is!

Funny you posted this because I was thinking of posting something almost exactly the same. I was HUGE into Coach (and this forum) for years, but wandered away from Coach to Louis Vuitton 2 or 3 years ago. Amassed a large LV collection, got bored, and recently sold all of my LV collecton except for my mon mono Neverfull and a few SLG's. Now I'm back in love with Coach. Feels good to be home!! Welcome back yourself! :)
