I have an Ileana Makri "endless cross" that I bought many years ago at Barneys. It's very small (about 1/2" square), so it's ideal to wear every day or layer with other pieces. Her workmanship is quite nice, and the stones sparkle a lot! This photo isn't the best, but it will give you an idea. I say, go for the evil eye!!

Thanks! Its not inexpensive but compared to the cost of VCA etc its starting to look appealing and they are a least a little unusual but wearable

Sorry can't stand her personally. One the many people that thrived through corruption in my country. Now that she has all the funding she could get from other corrupted ppl that invade taxes and launder money since the '80s, I guess she can make it big anywhere.

I'm glad I'm not the only one realizing this...
The quality is mediocre /bordering bad... You can find far better designers and artisans.

I just ordered an I. Makri evil eye bracelet, only to send it back the same day I received it. For $1K, the diamonds were minuscule (almost nonexistent, really), dark, and cloudy. What a let-down. :tdown:
