If you had $3500 to spend what designer bag(s) would you buy?!

This will be the first and most probably only time for me to be able to spend such a large amount of money on a handbag (with hubby's approval ;-)). What dream bag or bags would you go for or have you gone for?!

If I was smart and sensible, I'd probably get a large tote and a smaller bag for evenings & other outings. Like a Celine Trio and an Antigona tote. Or just a Chanel GST (if the "price adjustments" haven't dragged the prices up too high).

Since I'm not smart nor sensible, I'd probably head for the Longchamp and Mulberry e-stores and go crazy! :lawl:

This is my dilemma. Really tempted with Chanel as this may be my only chance at buying one but going crazy like you say on more affordable bags that are more in my comfort zone sounds great too.;)

For $200 more the Be Dior Mini. I die over that bag. But if I had to stay within budget, the Valentino Glam Lock, LV Alma BB. What is your lifestyle/needs?

Thanks, I'll check it out. I'm a mum of two girls (8 and 10) and practicality has been a priority. Also people around me are not one bit into designer bags and accessories, so I tend not to go too 'flashy' ;)

If you want a Chanel I'd recommend either a GST, mini, or seasonal flap. Unfortunately you cannot get a classic flap or boy for $3500. I have a GST and mini and love both. But since I have those already I am lusting after Dior and Valentino right now. You could also get a Dior Promenade. I don't know the prices of a Miss Dior but I love those too. Good luck.

Just be sure you'd feel all right about spending that much on one bag. It could really be outside your comfort zone even if it's affordable.

Maybe it would help to consider not the price but the bag that really calls to you. What do you tend to love, in full leather? I would never buy a Chanel flap (or really a Chanel anything) because it absolutely doesn't fit my style. Think hard about your style.

Maybe an LV Sofia Coppola PM or similar under-the-radar duffle type, like Givenchy Lucrezia?
