If you can make one change to your favorite bag what would it be?

Not necessarily my "favorite" since I love all my bags too much to have one particular favorite, but on my M/L Chanel Classic Flaps, I wish the straps were just a bit longer so they could also be worn cross-body. The straps are fine as-is single or doubled for shoulder wear, but that one change would just make the style more versatile (and the size is perfect for me for a cross-body).

Possibly row or 2 of pointy spikes down side.
Where won't cut my arm.
But where could be used to prod slowpokes, or the obnoxious, in crowded places.

If retractable spikes, even better.
As long as mechanism doesn't steal too much space inside bag. Or weigh tons.

Wow ... I have a whole lot of public transportation gripes that this could cure in an intstant! :P

My biggest changes would probably be to pockets -- adding them or changing them -- and straps -- making them longer or adjustable.

For example: I love my Fendi Petite 2Jours, but I would get rid of the center zip pocket if I could, and put it on the side. Add a couple more slot pockets on the other side and make it so I could zip the whole thing shut and I'd be all set!

And, I would own the LV Sofia Coppola -- if only they made the shoulder strap longer/adjustable. It seems nuts to me to create a luxurious duffle and not be able to wear it cross-body.
