Ok..so I've been trying to avoid bags and shopping for the past few months and kind of feel out of the loop now that I'm back.
Valentine's Day is coming up and I'm thinking of asking my boyfriend for another bag. He usually spend around 5k on my bags, so I can give or take on that.
Can anyone please suggest good investments pieces...as in a piece I'll still be wearing 5 to 10 years from now. I'm currently 27 years old.
Pictures would also be greatly appreciated if possible.

If you are looking for something casual then Bottega veneta anything! It is of such good quality and so classic it will last a long time.
If you are looking for something formal then a Chanel mini will be nice

An IGA reusable bag. They come in a variety of patterns and have a temperature control membrane. Great investment piece for carrying all your groceries in style!

I know they are way old now, but I didn't like them when they came out, but now I am like love with them typically, I would ask for the Prada transparent bag, they are still selling them online on some website, I looked the other day, Not that myself or my boyfriend could afford to spend that sort of money on a bag like that right now :smile: You're very lucky!

What a sweet boyfriend OP! I would definitely recommend a Chanel. It is definitely a good investement. The Jumbo flap I got a couple of years ago is now $2,000 more expensive!!! O_O

Crazy right!

Not to mention the design of Chanel is classic and timeless. Very droolworthy! Good luck choosing a bag! :smile:

I actually really wanted to Chanel mini, but when I went to Chanel on bloor street two weeks ago they told me it was discontinued. :sad:
Do you know anywhere that still has it?

I have a lot of other brands like Pucci, Burberry, Kate Spade, LV, etc. but the only ones I find I actually use are classic black Chanel flap or the gold wallet on chain one. Other than that from time to time I use my Mcqueen leopard clutch, Lady Dior bag, and a red limited edition Chanel Flap bag from Chanel Soho.

I really wanted a Birkin, but I'm not sure if it's increased to over 10k yet. Would you happen to know the price for it?

Hmm..what bag would you get?

But probably very hard to maintain, especially if you're as careless as me :smile:
Malliers.com is a great site too for preloved bags.

I'm also a big Fashionphile person. I've sold to them and bought from them. My purchased-Chanel was in mint condition. I drop in from time to time to check out the merchandise.
