About the durability of Celine leather bags, I can attest to its strength and resilience! I bought my Teen Triomphe in light burgundy 2 weeks ago and when I bought it I had my concerns about the delicacy of the leather, worried about scratches and finger marks on the shiny leather. SA told me it would take something quite sharp to scratch the leather and to not worry about it.
Couple of evenings ago DH and I went out for dinner and drinks and on the way I home I did something really silly and ended up falling pretty much flat on my face! I was wearing my Teen (for only the second time) crossbody in front of me. I was pretty banged up, nothing broken but lots of blood and a chunk of skin taken out my nose and lots of other scrapes and grazes! Wasn’t too worried about the bag at the time. Went to A&E got sorted out there, came home went to bed. Next day at some point thought I ought to check my bag out. She had some blood splatter on her but very very minimal marks, just a couple mainly in the back. I managed to clean off the blood spots, checked her over a bit more found a couple of dings in the Triomphe hardware on the clasp, but not really noticeable. Considering how badly scratched up I was miss Teen got off really lightly. And I’m definitely going to be less precious about wearing her in the future. Just thought I’d share.

Have included a few pics, but really not much to see. Looks worse in the last picture than it does in real life.

My own silly fault, feel very embarrassed. But could have been a lot lot worse. :flowers:
