I just got a pre-rloved Idylle Rendez-vous in mint condition, and it's really beautiful but I'm not sure I'm in love? The fabric seems impractical to me. What do you think of Idylle in general and anyone who has Idylle bag(s) how often do you use it and how do they hold up?

I have the Romance Idylle in blue and while I love the denim look of the fabric I don't recommend it. The parts of bag that received a lot of handling has turned yellow and cannot be washed off. I've tried baby clothes' detergent, dishwashing liquid and a super mild home blend of baby clothes' detergent and color bleach.
You're welcome! I'm going to send the bag to a bag spa for professional cleaning, not feeling optimistic but we'll see.
I have the speedy idylle in the color fusain. I really like this bag and use it more in the winter or on cloudy days as constant direct sunlight can fade the bag. I think this a nice bag and it has very beautiful hardware that looks very new still (the bag is 5 years old). I agree because it is fabric you have to be careful as the material tends to fray on the corners or piles. With that said, if you have a couple of bags that you could rotate with this line of bags, then it would be good to have in your collection. In my opinion this is not an everyday bag if you are one that likes to keep a bag in pristine condition. If you don't mind the bag having a little character over time, then this is the bag for you. I also agree this is an under rated collection.
I used to have a mini lin speedy 30. i didn't baby it, but I'm not usually hard on my bags and when i sold it it was still in perfect condition after a year. that being said, i have wanted to repurchase it, but i haven't found one on the resale market in the condition i'd want. all of the corners are horribly worn or the fabric itself has faded
Always loved this line . I do feel you kind of have to baby your bag though . I still think its worth having . I would keep it !!!!!
I love iddyle esp in fusain.Got a bad day last week when my coffe tumbler spill over my neverfull iddyle fusain. nothing to worry, just washed it with water and wait until it dry.
i have a speedy in idylle ebene (fabric) and the area where my arm touched when i hold it faded (unfortunatelly). Does someone know if LV provides some kind of maintenance or other? really disappointed with the fading considering the price we pay for it.
