ideas for tiffany zellige pendant....

i have the tiffany zellige pendant in gold on a black cord - i was hoping that i was also able to use the pendant on a long gold chain but the pendant can not be removed from the black cord unless the cord is cut, yup it must be sniped, sliced or slayed....


1. the zellige pendant on the gold chain has a loop on the back that the chain goes through, the black cord pendant does not have this so if i wanted to use a chain it would have to be tied around the pendant unless i had a loop put on

2. the gold chains that they have for purchase at TIF are not as thick or pretty as the one that comes with the pendant and likewise for the silk cords, the ones they have for sale are almost like string, in fact she just gave me one


so i was wondering if anyone had any ideas? i can still go back and exchange the pendants - cord for the chain paying the $325 difference (btw, the gold chain one has gone up i think almost $500 with two prices increases in 6 months!! that's almost a 50% increase, wowie!)

i want one pendant that can be used on the nice silk cord or a chain but it seems that i may not be able to have my cake and eat it too! also, i do need a long gold chain for some other pendants i have......

zellige pendant on 27.5 silk cord

If you want to be able to wear the pendant both ways, maybe you could exchange it for the one they sell on the gold chain, so that you can remove the chain if you want to and slip the black cord through the loop on the back when you want to change it up.

Sorry I cannot help but just wanted to say that the Zellige is one of my favorite Tiffany pendants
