Ideas for huggies/small earrings?

Hi all, as I recently had some major milestones in my life (baby + promotion) I wanted to treat myself to something. Am missing a pair of diamond huggies or small gold every day earrings in my life. I have pearls and diamond studs.

Am hoping for some input. A few ideas so far are:

Thank you - appreciate the suggestions! Chaumet I keep forgetting about but have beautiful pieces and you don't see them so much. From my own list am also veering a bit towards the Cartier, because you can't really go wrong with it ??

My thoughts on the lists so far:

I have heard many good things about this earring. On how comfortable it is and easy to wear. It is a classic design that speaks to the house of Cartier. I think it is a good choice.

- De Beers: https://www.debeers.co.uk/en-gb/de-beers-rvl-hoop-earrings-in-rose-gold/E103460.html
I like the design but I'm not sure it's worth it. The tiny diamond in the back just feels like a way to increase the price without doing much.

To be honest, this looks a little cheap. Like I could find it on Etsy or any jewelry store. I don't think its worth the price. Also, the closure will wear down and loosen over time. I'm sure that's not an issue for De Beers to fix but it does risk it falling out. And with such small hoops they may fall out without you noticing. I have many small huggies with this closure and I purposely buy the cheap gold plated versions because they all get loose and fall out eventually.

Cute, nice design. I too would be worried about the closure eventually wearing down over time. Again, I also buy cheap gold plated huggie hoops with this closure because they just wear down, get loose, don't click in securely anymore, and just fall out eventually. Also, probably not an issue for David Yurman to fix, if you catch it in time before it accidentally falls out.

Cute, classic to the house of Chaumet. I like them. It's more of a personal preference regarding the design. But I think they're a good choice.

I'm biased. These are my favorite because Serpenti Bvlgari is one of my favorite. Classic to the Bvlgari house and probably the most secure closure out of all of the choices. Again, a matter of preference on the design. These are a little less versatile than simple huggies.

Just my 2 cents though.

Have you considered the Cartier trinity hoops? https://www.cartier.com/en-us/jewelry/earrings/trinity/trinity-earrings-CR80083231.html They are very classic to the house, have a secure closure and can go with any color of metal.

Wow thank you for sharing thoughts so thoroughly! You really summarised my apprehension around classical diamond huggies very well as there is no unique design and indeed a reputable local jeweller makes them for nearly half the price, same ct and G/VS diamonds etc. For the same reasons I have previously tried on, but not pulled the trigger on these https://www.graff.com/uk-en/jewelle...ve-diamond-hoop-earrings/RGE1584_RGE1584.html as I in the end struggle justifying them when more special pieces are out there at that price point.

The trinity hoops are also a great suggestion! I didn't imagine them to be that lovely and dainty as Ive only seen the larger ones in the shop.
