So for v-day I got DF a black bone china large key and a return to tiffany keychain from Tiffany. LUCKILY, in the Tiffany I went to, they no longer have a jewler on site because I wanted to engrave the keychain and they couldn't so I brought it home and decided to go back at a later date to engrave so I would have it on time for today. I say luckily because DF, being the pain in the ass he is, didn't like anything and told me to bring it all back. I'm not offended...he is VERY hard to please with gifts and usually would rather get nothing, but I always put myself in the line of fire anyway...every holiday! Anyway, that being said, I now am returning both and getting something for ME. I would usually take a refund, but I didn't get anything today so I wanted to get myself a v-day gift. He wont buy me Tiffany and I usually wouldn't either so I am taking this as an oppertunity to buy myself something I normally wouldn't.

Here is what I was thinking:

DBTY silver single diamond or aquamarine bracelet....

OR the pearl by the yard PINK pearl bracelet.

Is there anything I overlooked???

I would love some ideas. I am focusing on a bracelelet for everyday since that is the only jewllery item I don't own many of. I would like to keep it under $500. I have about a $225 credit and would rather not spend much more. I think I'm too old for the classic return to tiffany collection so I would stay away from that. ( I also think it is too reproduced and in NYC I could find it in china town for $25!)

That being said, please give me some opinions. I will probably go return everything tomorrow so HURRY!!!

The pearls by the yard bracelet is BEAUTIFUL. If I got the DBTY, I would prefer it in either gold or platinum. . .but the aquamarine one is quite lovely as well ;)

I was looking at the MESH ring, and although I think it is cute, I am a bit too FANCY for it...lol! (I actually wear sweats all the time but always with my FANCY diamonds :lawl:)

Kohl....I really like the pearl bracelet and was thinking about going for that since it is more of a presence at a good price. I didn't want to spend the money for the gold or plat. since I could go to my jewler and buy so much more for the price. I really don't like silver, but since Tiffany will clean it for me for life, I could give it a try...What do you think about the pink DBTY bracelet??? I was thinking the 3 stone since I think the single stone gets lost?

I have a DBTY aquamarine necklace and love it, I want the diamond bracelet... so those are both great choices.

Also, have you thought about a locket? They have some cute oval lockets.

I love the bracelet. I actually owned it for a week and then I ended up returning it because it just didn't match any of my jewelry (I don't wear a lot of pearls or pinkish purple colored gems). I still think it's classic and quite beautiful and if you had a pair of matching earrings like twistpie mentioned, it'd be :love:. I think it's also at a reasonable price!

I like the YG Pearls by the yard with White Pearls $350 or silver $275.

QueenCoco - you're in NY! Go browse in person there's so much more than the site. I went in yesterday for a return (of all days - guess what SAs were NOT happy to see me!) and was reminded of how much more interesting their selection is in person.

Antique shopper, thanks for the selection!!! I'm liking the onyx. lubird....I am, but in an outer bourough so I end up going to the one in Jersey or White Plains as it is closer and those stores are TINY! I'm going to go in a bit and choose....I'll update you all tonight!
