This is kind of silly but like a lot of people Im sure, I am scared to death to wear my favorite pair of winter white pants. They are gorgeous and make my legs look miles long and have the perfect fit and I am afraid of walking around and getting the hems dirty or worse torn up from any salt or anything left on the ground from the last snow. Anyway I really want to wear them before its no longer winter so I thought about putting scotch tape on the hem and it worked! I put scotch tape on the back half of my pants on the hem layering it up on each side so outside and inside is 2 pieces wide and the actually hem part has a piece completely covering the hem. On white the tape doesn't show up at all because scotch tape has a hazy look to it and its not shiny. Any little bits of water that get on my hem slides off or I can just wipe it clean. Just an idea if anyone wants to try. Does anyone have any better ideas?
