That this Mini Ruby is MFF! I haven't been this excited over an MFF bag since the Mini Coras and Mini Bennetts got their fantastic makeovers in late 2014. As nice as the redesigns were, however, they were still crossgrain leather. I think they've really been improving the MFF quality quite a bit lately. My pebbled leather and suede MFF Minetta is quite nice, and so are the latest Mini Bennetts in pebbled leather. None of them quite compare to the latest Mini Ruby, imvho. It has an interesting patchwork design on the front that differs from the quilted patchwork of FP bags (since they were going with an Americana motif, the quilting makes sense). The patches are a purplish metallic leather (more purple than both FP & MFF metallic cherry), burgundy suede, and oxblood pebbled leather. The rest of the bag is... oxblood glove tanned leather!
The oxblood glove tanned leather is a decent thickness, and thicker than the crossgrain MFF pieces I currently have.
Here are some pics that will hopefully give an idea of what it's like.

With a couple of MFF metallic cherry and oxblood slg's, to give an idea of color:
To give another idea of the color, here it is with my burgundy saffiano Dooney Zip Zip:
And lastly, to give an idea of size, here it is inside my burgundy Dooney Zip Zip. It fits in side perfectly, with plenty of room to spare. I love it when a plan comes together!
Thanks for letting me share!
