I got my ICare pre-love through Vestiaire Collective about a year ago (they said it was in prestine condition) and I've been very careful with it and only worn it a few times (like 4 domestic flights and 2 international flights, except from that I've carried it maybe 10 times as an everday bag).
Is it usual that the antique gold color should wear off from that, it was already scratched when I received it but I found that ok. But now when the metal under the plating is clearly wearing off so obvious and my local Saint Laurent won't even take a close look at it, they say it's normal wear and tear 🙄 it's not like I've beaten it against a concreat wall or rubbed it against gravel 😭
Also why does the chain "lock" look so shiny compared to the display one in the store? Is it because the display one has been tested and worn a lot or is mine just off?
My friend in the US is experiencing the same issue.
