I found a Coach bag today while looking for blankets as a dog bed in charity stores (our latest darling rescue boy has stopped destroying expensive handbags and now concentrates on his dog beds for destruction, we are currently on dog beg 53, even the indestructible one only lasted 2 weeks and he broke a fang on it, so the super expensive bed and tooth removal, not covered with the insurance... hence me going for blankets) and I saw a Coach bag I bought for a friend who currently has a hard time through no fault of her own. Not knowing much about them (love the 2 I have but really not an expert in the brand) I just wanted to make sure I don't pass on a fake, Being Burned was nice enough to confirm it was real (I would be mortified if I would pass on or gift a fake) and was kind enough to even supply care instructions.

Popped over to said friend, she was not feeling very well so I just gave her the bag, a hug and left, needless to say she was super happy and smiled....

Apparently it is some tote signature from patent, can't say it would be my bag it is right up my friend's alley who's also a bit struggling, telling her I found it quite cheap in a charity shop helped her to accept it, for me it was just the worry of passing on something that might not be authentic, which thanks to BB's help was not an issue.

I had Rottweilers, a brother and sister, we went through 7 couches before they stopped chewing. 1st couch they chewed was an Arizona leather couch. I got up in the morning walked into the family room and the couch was all over the floor.
I went and told DH, the puppies left you a present. When he saw it he just shook his head, his look was priceless. After that I got them free off of Craigslist. The last one I got was an old blue floral one, they never chewed after that one and I was stuck with it for a year!

LOL, Harvey used to be a total monster, antique chaiselongue, we came back from brunch and he showed us proudly that it was stuffed with horsehair, countless bags (most epic was a Birkin as he managed to swallow hardware) shoes always just one, preferably boots where he decided it is now fashionable to have one boot toes free. With him it was we got him when he was 10 months, he went through a lot of homes before where he was always only in his kennel, so not being jailed, everything was a toy. He turned 5 last week, he has calmed down so much, but the whole thing with fighting his dog bed and seeing what's inside it, we just can't get out of him. We don't have pillows in rooms he is allowed in, because trying to vacuum up feathers is horrendous. He ate a few nice leather armchairs, so I got him his own chair from a charity shop, he loves it and oddly enough never made any attempt to destroy that one. He also got some interactive dog toy, almost like a Kong toy, but a bit more complicated, he has to push it in sequence which you can change, then it releases a treat, it occupies his mind, I think being bored made him "play" (read destroy) with our stuff.

The woman who got the Coach bag totally loves him and the little sod plays up to it and looks adoringly at her, so she always thinks it was not his fault, it must be something we did to encourage him (yes, like having those things...)

@BeenBurned is fantastic and so are all the other wonderful authentification experts that enable us! :graucho:

@Gabs007 Thanks for sharing, that was a nice thing to do for your friend!

Seriously, the bag was ridiculously cheap, she's a lovely woman who has a really rotten time, it's not like I spent a few hundred, it was honestly a really small amount, possibly 2 drinks in a fancy bar. Plus since I am getting rid of most of my stuff, I could indulge in shopping without feeling guilty.
