I wish I had tiny fingers and hands==I think my diamond would look so much bigger

Really, I had to send my e-ring back to be sized up from a size 6 to a size 7. My hands and feet both grew a full size after 2 babies. Plus, the ring just looks smaller than it used to. Is it the 13 years of wearing it, the (now) fat fingers, or both??...

Clearly, a diamond looks larger on smaller fingers. I have a slightly >2 ct. center stone with side stones, as does my SIL, but hers looks larger because (1) she has a round brilliant and I have a princess and (2) her fingers are smaller. Honestly, though, it doesn't make that much of a difference in "wow" factor. She has better finger coverage but we are both wearing similarly sized stones, and that is apparent.

I also wish I had smaller feet...........since they grew a half size with each child...I have two children, and wear an 81/2..............I never realized it.....but I think my fingers also grew! OMG

That certainly is a benefit of being petite. I have super-small hands/fingers and my ring size is only a 4 1/2. I have some pretty good-sized diamonds but they look even bigger on me because of my tiny fingers. I have had two kids and neither my hands or feet have changed in size, but I have heard of that happening to some people.

Too small is actually kind of a pain, too. My ring finger has gradually went from a size 3 to a size 4 within the last few years, as I gained over 25 lbs. I remember when I was buying a simple Tiffany ring to wear on my ring finger (the only finger that feels comfortable with a ring), they didn't have a size 4, and only had a 4.5 in stock, which is how it ended up on my right hand. :(

I always tell DH he lucked out! I have skinny fingers and I wear a 3 3/4 on my ring finger.. My E ring has a 1c center diamond and it looks pretty big on me. I sometimes thinkg skinny finger is bad b/c I can't wear any ring with large stone, it just looks ridiculous to me lol
