I Went to Saks and Came Home Glowing - Reveal!

I went to the outlet yesterday to return a misguided FOS purchase. I had already used my outlet coupon but a friend gave me her coupon. I picked up a few items and got 15% off with the coupon. With the return I actually got $11 back on my credit card.


I left the outlet really rather virtuous, but I cut through the Saks Off 5th store on my way to the parking lot and fell for a very unexpected bag.

Here's my last outlet purchase. I need a new pair of winter gloves because my old pair are very worn and I ripped the thumb stitching on my right hand last winter. I got these MFF Bow Leather Gloves with Turnlock accents in Saddle F85929 SV SD for $50.15 (MSRP = $125).


They are lined with merino wool and I think they are very cute. I prefer the cashmere lined gloves but it is too early in the season to hope for an FP delete and I didn't want to pay full price.

We are going on a Caribbean vacation soon and when I saw this bag at Saks I thought is would be an adorable item to take on the trip. I really love it but I am now having second thoughts. I already have several beachy, picnicky straw and canvas bags (they are a weakness of mine!) And I have a beautiful Audrey fish tote and an Audrey shell wristlet that I am planning to take on vacation.


So I really don't need this bag. It is very large and I always pack too much and my luggage is always too heavy - but it sure is cute.


Any more guesses? I will reveal it next!

Correct! I don't have any Preston bags and this Bleecker Striped Coated Canvas Large Preston in Sunglow and White 30173 SV CMD that comes with a large matching wristlet was $132 (MSRP = $398) so I bought it

Love it! I have one in black with white edging, it's a nice bag, can hold a lot, opens wide, not overly heavy! Enjoy!!
