Hello everyone. Despite my beauty standards being very influenced my korean beauty standards after enjoying kpop when I was younger, I wish for a slightly more prominent and square jaw. My face shape is generally quite soft, and I plan to get facial lipo to make my jaw more defined. However, I think volume would need to be added in order to achieve this look.

The problem is I am really not a fan of filler or implants. Is there such this as bone grafting to change the shape of the jaw? I’d assume if this does exist, it could be a bit unpredictable. I’m happy to get a facial contouring procedure afterwards to make it more perfect.

I have no bite issues if you’re going to recommend some kind of jaw surgery, but I’m interested in getting a Lefort I osteotomy to shorten the midface. I have a very slighty receding chin if you look at my side profile so I’ll probably get a slight sliding genioplasty.

I don’t know if bone grafting for this kind of thing exists, but if it does or something similar exists please let me know. If you know specific clinics that would be great. Preferably in Korea but I will consider other countries.

Attached is an edited picture of Lindsay Lohan. This jaw shape is what I’m aiming for, I don’t mind if it’s a little more subtle though.

Thanks for your time!

I've done some more research and I can enhance my 'gonial angle' with a 'bilateral sagittal split osteotomy' that includes some sort of rotation. It seems to be a lower jaw surgery. However I have no bite problems, will it affect my bite? Any thoughts and experiences? Generally I'm able to grasp a good idea of how surgeries work but this one seems very specific and complicated and the fancy names get to me. If anyone understands it or knows a clinic that does this kind of surgery specifically I'd love to hear what you have to say. Cheers!

Another update since I just realised 'BSSO' is just lower jaw surgery and could easily be performed with a LeFort I Osteotomy. I wonder if doctors in Korea would be willing to do a rotation to make my jaw more prominent? Since it'd be uncommon for people to want a more square jaw in Korea I wonder if it'd be okay to get this surgery done there. It'd definitely be very nice to not need to travel more and spend more time in recovery to do yet another procedure. I'm not planning to get this procedure for quite a while by the way! Just informing myself in advance and hoping to help others as I learn. Sorry for kinda spamming this thread, I get confused, then I google more and understand, then I'm like OMG I was wrong I need to update this lmao.

are you talking about jawline augmentation? If it’s not something frequently done in Korea, I would not recommend going there. I would also think long and hard about drastic changes that might spiral into revisions or create other issues.
personally, I think one can go down a rabbit hole and become too fixated on details. I always prefer finding the best PS to consult. If you go in, not asking for one procedure or another, but by simply inquiring if x result is possible, the specialist might come up with a totally different solution? Good luck

There are doctors who shave down the jawline and give you a new jawline, but you’ll not be able to avoid implants if you want something elegant and glamorous looking.
Korea is not the place for this at all, but Europe and the US.

There are fillers out now to shape the jawline but I’d avoid them as it’s a new thing and it’s not sure what the material really is. Same as with the buttocks fillers. Plenty of girls have problems today and get them removed
