I thought I didn’t like this bag until I tried it on……

Ever since this bag was released I thought I didn’t like/want it until I tried it on the other day!??!!! On Friday I purchased the Black Deauville in Medium size (just posted a thread on that one) and then saw the 22 small size in front of me on the mannequin and thought why not, let’s give it a try! Now I think I like it?! Thoughts on the 22? 22 bag owners are you still loving your bag?

I love mine. Super easy to wear. Fit a lot and surprisingly comfortable on shoulder.
I wear mine for holiday with no problem.

That is beautiful! I love the 23A caramel brown THE BEST out of all the caramels that have been released in the past 5 years and it looks so gorgeous in the 22 style! The 22 has such a relaxed vibe and it just slouches into a pool of caramel goodness. I love it in the 22! And you look great with the 22. The proportions look good on you and the colour totally matches what you're wearing. The caramel pops so nicely against your white t-shirt! You're lucky to get offered this. Where I'm from, my SA told me that the 22 in this colour only comes in the mini size, not the small size. I'd get this in a heartbeat if I were you! (I got the mini 22 instead... no regrets of course... really loving the 22 in the mini size!)

I only speak the truth! I really really really think it looks so good on you! And I wish my local store ordered it in the small size!

I know some people don't like the 22 because the chains rub against the leather (at the drawstring closure bits) but you can now buy "protectors" in the secondary market for those areas to protect your leather.

Let us know what you eventually decide to do!

Yes, mine is small size and black color is so hard to get on my local store. I have to wait for few months until my SA gave me good news.

I have this exact 22 bag! Picked it up early June in Paris. I adore the 22. It’s such an easy carefree bag. I don’t carry much day to day but I like that I don’t have to put much thought when I do want to carry more. I am considering getting a small black later this year

Only con for me is that the straps do dig in a bit if wearing for long periods. I wore the bag out for a day of shopping and the straps did start to get a little uncomfortable and all I was carrying was a compact wallet, small make up pouch and sunglasses. But despite this, no regrets getting this bag

Black is edgy but this caramel brown is really stunning. I like it a lot. Did not used to even like the 22, but it's definitely growing on me. Like it in white, black, and this color!

Right? I only tried it on cuz it was in such close proximity to me. The mannequin holding the bag was right beside me so I said why not? LOL! Now, I regret that move cuz I want this bag and I just bought the Deauville. Grande Latte, you gotta try the bag and let me know your thoughts! I tried the small size.

Keep the 22 and return the Deauville. That would be my knee-jerk reaction.

I cannot justify spending that much money on a fabric/ canvas tote. I just can't. On the other hand, this brown 22 is just incredible. Keep.

Can you find a substitute for the Deauville? Perhaps go for a non-brand one? I saw your other post about the Deauville, and black is a more sensible choice, but still, you wear it in summer and black is just a bit heavy for summer.

Here're some photos that I managed to find online. I can't seem to find any for purchase online but I might try to make my own. It's a simple idea and I might make a full leather version. The idea is to just slip another layer of leather into each of the loops to protect the main leather. Wish me luck!!
