I see so many Ladies with choker length(13"-14")necklaces.Where are they buying them?

I make my own. I actually just restrung a faux pearl necklace (black ribbon ties) I picked up at a thrift store today. The string broke as the lady was ringing me up so after we hunted them down she asked me if I still wanted it. I did, so I got it for free.
I don't see chokers too often, but I did see some at urban outfitters.
 
I think if you buy a necklace at Tiffany & co they will shorten it without charging. I have never been able to find shorter length necklaces. I have to have almost every necklace that I buy shortened by a jeweler. I also have a small neck so a 16" chain looks long on me. I have mine shortened to 13.5" for chocker lengh stuff and 14" for necklaces that I don't want to be so tight. I also have to have every bracelet made smaller to about 6.5". Sometimes with the extra links if they are diamonds or gemstones I've had turned into earrings or pendants.
