Hi girlies,

I am a newbie here and would really appreciate your help! A few days ago I saw a lady with a Blue togo 25 birkin, palladium with white stitching! It was beautiful and now I have a dilemma....my husband loved it too and hinted that he may be willing to get it for my birthday(which is coming up in June) if I give him all the details and ideally locate one in a store somewhere in the world(or europe preferably).....anyway, here it goes:

the colour was a medium/dark turquoise, so definitely not blue jean, lagoon, ciel or any of the lighter shades....but not as dark as prusse or sapphire, I don't think it was thalassa although the pics I have seen are so different I can not tell for sure....I think its a slightly brighter, deeper turquoise than thalassa.....so any ideas as to what colour it might be????

It also had white stitching, which looked fantastic on this colour!

Please, please please help me.....I really want this bag and its not often that my husband likes a birkin, and especially offers to buy me one.....he didn't speak to me for two days when I bought my precious 35 togo vert veronese, as he couldn't understand why I would spend so much money on a bag!!!! Silly, silly man!!!!

Anyway sorry to waffle on for so long...I hope some birkin buff out there can help me!!!! ;-)

My guess is thalassa since it can look so different in different lights, and it has contrast stitching. You may be limited to the blues that the store has available, which would be blue abyss, blue de prusse, and soon blue de malte.

It might've been an SO for all you know.

Most blues don't come with white contrast stitching. I don't know if the older blues - Sapphire, Thalassa, Brighton - came with contrast stitching, but for recent colors I think it was only BJ.

If you describe it as a true bright medium/dark turquoise color, then it must be blue paon and since it's only available in chevre, it must have been a SO, that explains the white stitching. It's the only color that's a medium turquoise. Here's a pic for your reference. The kelly in the middle is blue paon, but it is actually 1-2 shades darker in real life. HTH! It's a great color, hope you'll acquire it in the near future. =)

Hi everyone,

I have found out which colour it is...and it is Thalassa Bleu....someone mentioned that they don't make it anymore, and that you can't order it either.....is that really true?

I'm sure I read on a thread recently, someone stated that Thalassa was being brought back. Sorry I can't find the thread now and I'm not sure if it's true but someone will chip in and confirm I'm sure
