Hello everyone! I'm currenlty on the hunt for a new black work bag. I'm a huge fan of structured totes and satchels so I've narrowed it down to the Michael Kors Hamilton (black embossed croc) and the Kate Spade Doris (black embossed croc). Please help me choose! I currently have 6 MK bags and thought I'd switch it up by looking at other brands. I don't own any Kate Spade bags so I have no experience as far as quality goes. Please vote and also let me know what your experience is (good or bad) with kate Spade bags. Do you have any other black handbag suggestions? Thank you for your help! :)

I have a Brahmin bag similar to the Kate Spade one. I can only carry pens, a book, wallet, cellphone and work badge. It's good if you don't carry folders or a laptop, like someone else said. It's professional. But I voted for the MK Hamilton Traveler if you are going to actually use files and folders, or potentially pack a lunch, a spare pair of flats, toiletries pouch, etc. I actually wanted one (there was one for sale on the MK website in Mulberry!)!

sorry for late response. I have both of these bags. The KS is very small in inside and looks boxy. I liked it at first now I don’t even carry it. I have 3 of these. Hammy holds more.
