I need your help deciding on a bag

Hi Everyone!

so I really need all your help, but im being incredibly indecisive.
I really was in the search for a day to night bag and one of my choices was the Louis Vuitton favorite mm (I will link below)
I brought it and returned it straight away but then regretted it and wanted to repurchase it.
However... I have also fell in love with the YSL Wallet on chain (which I will also link below)
The problem is.....I was about to purchase the Favorite mm but I kept thinking to myself Im always at work or well most of the time so I should really instead of looking for a small bag such as the favorite which I will only be able to use at the weekends or evenings I should really look for a work bag....But then I already have a LV Monogram speedy 35, and two MK Selma so I dont really need another tote. But im tempted to purchase the speedy 30 in the damier ebene...even though that wont be able to be used in the evenings as I think its too causal.
anyways to get to the point I would ike to purchase something which I could use at work aswell as evening/weekend. It dosnt have to be a huge bag...

I was thinking the YSL Wallet on chain would be good because I can pop it in my work bag and then take it out at lunch and in the evening leave my bag in the office or at home and just quickly take the YSL Wallet.

What does everyone think. I am open to suggestions, would like to keep it no more than £900-£1000.

Id like to get a bag I can get the most wear out of! I have a gucci soho disco in champagne which took me ages to decide to buy and when I got it to keep or not to keep but I do love it, but I just dont get that much wear out of it....But at the same time I dont want to buy another big bag.

I personally like the LV Favorite MM, but the Speedy is a lot more versatile. I would recommend going with a Speedy 25 vs 30. The 25 is really quite huge, and holds almost everything. Also, if you do end up getting a Speedy, you'll need to get some kind of support for the bottom in order to prevent unsightly sagging. I had a 25 that I had a love-hate relationship with - I loved it because it was so versatile and it held so much stuff, but I hated the sagging. I ended up selling it, but am considering buying another in non-monogram (very sad the epi is discontinued). :(

Anyway, I think in the end, I would recommend the Speedy with some support for the bottom. Just my opinion! Enjoy your new bag, whichever one you end up choosing!! :)

Thanks for your response, so you think I should go with the speedy 25 but don't u think that might look a little odd on me (I'm 5'9)

I'm 5'9" too!!

Anyway, the Speedy 25 isn't a little bag - it definitely wouldn't be considered "mini." It's actually pretty large. The Speedy 30 is really, really big. IMHO, it borders on luggage. Trust me, you'll be glad you went with the 25 :)

I bought a Phillip Lim Pashli mini especially for a casual night out. Not too small and a bit dressier in this size. The price is right, too! I'm 5'10".

There are base shapers and bag organizers for the Speedy, those will help with the sagging.
I'd personally go for a Speedy Bandouliére, to add more versatility. That way you'll have the best of both worlds; a small, hand-carry satchel and something to carry on your shoulder or crossbody. :smile1:

Sounds like this one is between the wallet on chain or favourite. You have work bags which you can slip your new little purse in, as you have noted. I feel like since you bought the favourite, then returned it and now want it again, you should go with that, but, you have fallen in love with the ysl...

If it were me, and I had an LV already, I'm really into diversifying my collection, so I'd be all over the YSL.
