So I learned my lesson about shipping with insurance or signature for big $$$ items but for small $ items? So I shipped this item out a couple weeks ago, the buyer states that he never got the item and well, at my loss, I gave him back his money sans shipping costs that I kept for, well, shipping and handling costs. The price was only 6.01 so I figured it didn't need insurance or confirmation. I just pack it and ship it out first class. That was a week or two ago. Then today, he escalates to a claim, saying that he wanted a full refund for something he didn't get. So now I'm thinking, great I don't want to deal with this buyer anymore and I don't want to deal with $4 dollars for S&H so I just get the problem over with and give that back too. But now I'm sitting here without my item back and a loss of $. He talked to the post office over there and said that they couldn't do anything. I don't get it. My other similar item got shipped out and made it to the buyer on the same day I shipped this one. Why wouldn't this one? Should it really be my responsibility to pay for shipping costs?
Well, I learned my lesson. Now I'm insuring everything, even 99 cent items!
