Ok, my mom came over my house on my birthday. She always goes and raids my makeup and I give her some. She also raided my jewelry area. She wanted my old E ring, and tried to take it. She asked for it. I know, my mom is rather bold. My DH said no. LOL, yes she asked him for it.
I gave her some jewelry I wasn't wearing , a few necklaces and earrings. Now it is her birthday and I need to get her a gift. I know she really wants a ring. I need a ring that is yellow gold, not too expensive, nothing cocktail or anything.
Something simple, with or w/o stones. I have no idea what to get her.
I was thinking of something like a small diamond right hand ring, where can I get one cheap? I know that sounds bad. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're price point is, but what about a basic gold ring with a small diamond like this one? http://www.zales.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3864625

Maybe something like this for some more money would be better though, especially if she may want more diamonds: http://www.jared.com/webapp/wcs/sto...51|10001|-1|531482103|19064|19064.19793.19813

Also go look at Macy's. I didn't see much on their website, but when I was in their store last week they had some really pretty rings that were very reasonably priced. These could be possibilities: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produ...METAL_COLOR=Yellow&STONE=Diamond&sp=3&spc=109 http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produ...METAL_COLOR=Yellow&STONE=Diamond&sp=3&spc=109 or maybe this: http://www1.macys.com/catalog/produ...METAL_COLOR=Yellow&STONE=Diamond&sp=3&spc=109 (this one comes in a few other colors, and it's very small and dainty in person).

Thanks, the first one is better , not only in price, but it doesn't look bridal. Thanks! I will check macy's too.

Sounds like your Mom likes some Bling!

How about a ring with a precious gemstone? Not sure what her fave colors are. What does she like? Yellow gold? White? Colors? Sapphire? Emerald?

She is an olive italian and loves her YG! she likes bling, but simple, nothing raised , as she works with her hands. I really wish I could give her my old e ring, as it doesn't mean that much to me and I don't use it at all.
But DH would be very upset!

wow, that is super cool. I like it for myself! Is it soft like a chain? Or hard ? Very cool! Would make a great stacking ring.

Yes, it's a chain. I picked one up similar to that, locally only in sterling silver and with a citrine stone, just to try it.(see pic below) I love it! It's really comfortable. I'd love to get the gold/diamond one some day. Good luck with your search.

Thanks everyone! I am going to order one of the rings that were suggested.
My mom likes coins, and collects them, or maybe the rockcandy/ emerald. Really can't beat the price!I also like the chain ring too, for me! lol

It's so nice of you to think about honoring your mother with such gift. I know some would raise an eyebrow and think that this ring is an engagement ring, not for mothers. But its simplicity and style, as well as the white gold band, reminds me the pure love of mothers. Here is it: http://www.brillianteers.com/diamond-ring-sieva-whitegold-18k0-5.html. But of course, you can still look at other choices and choose what you think would best represent your love for your mother. Good luck on your quest!
