I think its still a pretty good bargain, even with the stain. And the only part others will see is still in great shape so congrats!

The exact thing happened to me with my white ergo tote...except for the fact that I didn't know about the stain up front! The supposed "excellent condition" bag showed up with a pink kool-aid looking stain on the back. I was ticked at first but DH talked me into keeping it (can you actually believe that?!) The stain is in the same spot as the ink stain on your bag, not very noticable and the best part is that I don't freak out anytime something touches my bag. Great price and great decision - I don't think you'll regret it!

I think you made a great choice since you're able to justify that you don't want to 'baby' the bag and the blemish is on the lower back.
