My current setting was really not intended to be permanent, but after a botched resizing leaving it misshapen and warped, I am thinking it might be time. When I think of all the money I have put into settings in the last 6 years, and how much drama I have had in regards to my jewelry...it actually enrages me. I could've gotten a really nice ring or paid off most of my car!
So the plan presently is to get a Leon Mege, classic platinum solitaire, however with a 6 prong head and not a 4 prong. Hopefully that goes well!
I am terrified of custom work, but maybe this will be the charm.
I just have to come up with the cash, which might take a couple months and some serious restraint at the Nordies sale this year.
