What a cute story I also like the gold hardware, although if you think silver is better you should just go for an exchange because gift or not, you shouldn't have to 'settle' for anything less than what you want! Your husband knows that he definitely made you super super happy with his thoughtful gesture so I don't think he'll be too upset if you ask for a hardware change.

CONGRATS! Yr hubby is so sweet~ How did he know to get you the Turq? As for choice of hardware it's a difficult one. Do you personally like Turq with GGH? I know you prefer the SGH but can you tolerate the GGH? Try having a casual chat with hubs and maybe say something like, "Oh you made a really good choice honey, but I'm not so sure about the hardware, I think I may like silver better. Is it okay with you if I take a look at the Turq with silver instead?" and go from there
