I had convinced myself a while back that I did not need this bag. I had a Dakotah...done. It was still there in the back of my brain though. I told myself I would get one on 2 conditions: a)it could not be black and b) it had to be a reaaaallllyyy good deal. Usually I do not look at Macy's email adverts. they are overwhelming and remind me of Fox News...each little box is desperately trying to get my attention. I needed a little Coach something for my sister for Christmas and they were advertising new Coach stuffs and an extra 20% off clearance. So I browsed...and ended up getting something for myself and IMO the best deal ever and is the last passenger aboard the boat to Ban Island. Here she is: the Violet 24 Rhyder. She was on clearance to begin with...plus the extra 20% off...plus 10% off because I used my Macy's card...plus I had a gift card for a total price of: $183. I got her today and love her. She is the perfect shade of Violet...the dark kind. After getting her though, I would never, ever dream of paying the full price for this bag. I cannot justify it. P.S. to Macy's: you might want to send the nicer bags in a box not an envelope, even though everything was wrapped in the customary Coach foam and in a Coach plastic bag.
