First off, Happy Mother's day to all of the moms on the forum. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Now, I have been lurking here for quite some time. I'm normally in the handbag forum. My husband and my 4 year old daughter gave me my first Pandora bracelet today. I wanted a charm to represent both of them. So I received one Murano glass piece in an amber color, one dog for our minature pomeranian, the ballet slipper with the pink cubic zirconia to represent my daughter because she is taking ballet lessons and loves it. My husband wanted the car charm to represent him but the boutique close to us had to order it so it will be in next week. So technically I have 4 charms and a bracelet. Love it!! I want to do a bracelet of my favorite things. So I have been looking at charms etc. and I have figured out I want to do a two tone bracelet. Meaning, silver and gold. I love the two tone effect and then I can wear it with both metals.

The question I have is, do I need to buy a couple of clips so that the charms will stop moving around. I notice they slide but I remember the sales person showing me the clips. Also, does anyone have the clasp opener? I notice it is taking me a moment to open the clasp. Does the clasp opener work? My fear is that my husband won't always be around to help me put it on. Overall, love the bracelet and I am glad I am an official Pandora girl now!! :yahoo:

I do recommend the clips 'cuz it drove me crazy the sliding around and I did buy the opener but returned it (traded it for another bead) because I found that my own fake nails worked better . Others have recommended a guitar pick or credit card.

There is another thread called Pandora Bracelets continued that has a wealth of info and very friendly posters. It's where I learned everything.

And there is another called What does your Pandora look like...:smile1: post your pics there so we all can see.

Thanks Normamargot for the advice. I will peruse there and see what I can find out. I see I'm going to have to get the clips because the beads moving around is driving me crazy!! "LOL"

definitely get the clips! my bracelet was a gift with 5 beads and 2 spacers to begin with, and it drove me crazy until i got the clips. well worth it!
