So, i work in advertising and i know that people get retrenched all the time but im so shocked!
I got called into a meeting room yesterday and got handed a cheque and a letter stating that my role has been made redundant. They went to great lengths to say that it had nothing to do with my performance but im still so shocked and upset.

I have an interview tonight so wish me luck.:s

Feeling very down and wish i hadnt bought so many bags recently .... :shame:

Are you going to stay in advertising?

know great things are in store for you.

GL on your interview! That really sucks though :sad: As clicheas it sounds though, when one door closes another opens, so, I'm SURE that there are better things waiting for you!

That blows large! I'm sorry for that sweetie - sometimes it just comes out of nowhere.

Good luck for the interview - be INSANELY positive! Hope it all goes well for you, doing something like this soooooon: :happydance:
