I haven't bought a bag in 14 months: what LV would you recommend?

This would be my first LV. I would like a bag that I can use for work but too much logo wouldn't be appreciated at work, I guess.
The other option would be a bag I strictly use in my non-office-time, for instance the pochette metis in empreinte leather.
Any suggestions what would be a good start in the LV world?

If you don’t want Logo then leather bags are you’re choice. If you don’t carry too much maybe a epi Alma bb could also be a very nice option. or the neo Alma bb in empreinte is also very nice.
classy, yet elegant but not too overdressed. Can be dressed up but also be worn casually.
If you need a midsize bag I would go for a speedy 25 in empreinte or neonoe bb in epi.
If you need more stuff I would go for a empreinte Neverfull or onthego!

so many options to choose

Oh, thank you! The Alma was on my list for a long time (actually since the first season of selling sunset...) I have to look into it. The onthego is very nice too, but I consider it more of an office bag, but I will look into it as well. Thank you

Let us know what you will choose! I think the epi one might be a great and durable version!

100% the Pochette Métis in empreinte!! I use this as my everyday bag. It's held up amazingly and it even has fallen off my passenger seat twice and slid on the dirty floor of my vehicle and has no damage! (That did give me quite a scare though before I inspected it haha)

To me it's the perfect size bag, not too big, not too small. I carry my coin card holder, pocket organizer, rosalie, mini pochette, round coin purse and can still fit a ton without over stuffing.

have you looked at empreinte MPA? Can be causal or dressy. Different options (eg using both pouches, only 1, chain or cross body etc).
It looks great but I'm afraid I wouldn't use the different options. But I have to look at it in the store.

The pochette metis I like a lot, but I am not sure whether it is a young women's bag (I'm 45?). I've seen it a lot around and also think, it is the perfect size.

It’s not a “young” bag. No such thing. I know women in their 60s who carry it.

I haven't thought about ebene so far. The light colour does look very nice for the summer I guess. On the other hand I think, when I spend 4 digits on a bag it might as well be leather.

Would you look at the Men's bags? There are tons of classic styles there that will never go out of fashion and I reckon are great for both office and downtime. There's a whole range of colours and styles, some are actually very muted. I'm a woman and a Men's bag was my very first LV recently.
