Ughh... I've gotten to a point (again) where I feel like I have more than I use/need.

I purchased a few new bags recently :D Happy about that.

But I need some help deciding which I should let go of. I like them all of course, but I definitely do not need this many bags, nor will I use them all regularly. It bothers me just having them sitting around :shrugs:

Here's what I have:

:love: Love but still have tags on:
Large Greenwich in Steel Gray
Signature Tote in Brown
Jet Set Large Coin Wallet - Ballet


:coolio: Impulse buys on the way:
Cindy Crossbody - Ballet
Jet Set Crossbody - Ballet


:thinkin: Very very lightly used -
N/S Hamilton - Black/Gold
Large Selma - Navy
Large Selma - Luggage
Selma Messenger - Nude Tri-Color
Selma Messenger - Black
Jet Set Tote - Peanut
Medium Cross-stitched Cindy - Dusty Rose
Large Cindy - Pale Blue/Silver
Large Jet Set Messenger - Claret

Continental - Dark Dune
Jet Set Large Coin - Cross-Stitched Dusty Rose
Flap Wallet - Tile Blue
Signature Large Zip Wristlet - Brown


Right off the bat I know the Pale Blue/Silver Cindy isn't something I'm going to hang on to. And my Large Jet Set Messenger in Claret just sold on eBay last night, so its headed out. Very pretty but they just don't work for me anymore.

Top thought to let go is the Navy Selma. But then I'm worried because is very pretty to me and now I don't see them for sale in that size. Also I *think* I'm over the Peanut Jet Set. I've used that tote probably the most and I think I'm ready for a new tote.

Outside of that though I have no idea :p I just know I don't need this many!! It's overwhelming to me. :cray:

Maybe you can decide between keeping one of the two crossbodies in Ballet or the Selma messenger in nude. Also, you could keep maybe two wallets, one large and one smaller for you crossbody bags. I would start there at least. :D

This is a good idea. No sense in having 2 ballet crossbodies!
I would also let go of the peanut tote and get a different one :)

How often do you use your black N/S hamilton?
I would also let go of the tri-color selma messenger. I'm not a fan of tri-colors! Plus the black one would be sufficient when you need a selma messenger.

Definitely planned on choose between the two Ballet crossbodies and only keeping one. Really great point to add the Nude messenger in that mix and just choose one out of the three. [emoji4]

I use the N/S regularly, it's my only classic black bag (I [emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️[emoji173]️ black bags), plus I don't see those for sale any longer either. So I'm pretty sure she's a keeper.

Wallets! Your totally right! Only really need one big, one small. I think I'm just hanging on to them because I like all the colors 🙄 I like the Continental and Large Coin styles best. Love the looks of the Dusty Rose Cross-Stitch but I'm so worried the stitching isn't going to hold up with the amount of handling a wallet gets. 🤔

I'm surprised this one pops right away... I keep thinking this one is a keeper [emoji15]

I really like that it's so care free. Oh and soooo organized!

I think most my reasoning is I feel it's different than all my other MK bags. The Signature tote print isn't in your face because it's the dark brown, but it's got that little something different from the plain saffiano bags. Something different to grab.

Now that I've worn the Peanut Jet Set Tote alot, was thinking the Sig. Tote could be its replacement.

Are you sure about getting rid of the nude messenger? Just thinking that could be useful for the summer months when black is too heavy? Just a thought.

The nude tri color from last year was super cute. If I hadn't have brought blush I would have snapped this up!
IKWYM about feeling a bit overloaded with bags this is a great thread. Looking forward to hearing what you keep and sell on.

I agree with you here, I just got a signature print MK backpack in brown logo and i think it will be a good low maintenance bag. I also need to add a vanilla logo bag to my collection. It's just different and easy to maintain! sometimes u just need low stress bags haha (which is why I also love black bags)

Personally best place to start are the bags still with tags.. evaluate those carefully to see if they will actually be useful to you or were just impulse/deal buys.

Then i would weed through the very, very, very lightly used styles.. if you don't really use them then you won't miss them.

Wallets... cannot help you there, some love multiples my oldest daughter has a few, i own one and just ditched it recently for a lovely lined pouch and a mini skinny lol.

Go through the bags individually, try 'em back on .. load them up, see how you feel if it's not love.. then out it goes!

Here's what I have for the "keeper" pile as of right now... Still waiting on the Ballet crossbodies to arrive to decide on those.

I'm pretty happy with this amount right now. I'm definitely going to wear each bag, maybe for a good week straight, to really decide if I'm still in love with each one like suggested though :D Maybe I'll decide to add another one or two to the "to go" pile.

Had to take a picture with and again without flash because the lighting was just not cooperating with me :shrugs: Thought it was a good time to do a picture while I had everything out, uncovered, and taking eBay pictures anyway.

All of them are so nicely displayed! Pretty! Sounds like you have a good plan for figuring which ones to keep/sell. I've been rotating some of my bags to see which ones I need to sell. I definitely have two so far. I've already added a few more new bags to my collection so I might need to dig a little deeper to let more go lol.
