Recently two people posted in two different posts about the soft borough bags (#32290/32290P & 32291/32291P). Love both of these bags. I call Jax last night and I'm told that both bags are completely sold out and there's no indication that there will be more. So my question is how do you find out about these bags if they aren't online? TIA.

I don't know the answer to your question, how people find out about these things that aren't online. Sometimes it is here on the forum. Some of the FP stores have a "lookbook" showing up and coming items and if you ask to see it the staff will show you. Some have good sources with SAs or managers they have cultivated a relationship with.

EDIT TO ADD: some people call JAX (Jacksonville) a lot to see what is new or have figured out how to look at the drilldown site (where Coach is getting postings ready to put stuff online). If one puts in the effort there's a lot of info out there. ( I am not that savvy, I just read here!)

But I'd bet you any money those soft Boroughs will make it to production. The Borough bag is Coach's "big" hit right now and I cannot believe the soft Borough won't be the next step since they already have umpteen sizes in the original version, the edge paint, and the tote version.

I have no personal knowledge about this and could be very wrong. Perhaps others here know for sure. But I wouldn't give up hope if I were you.

Personally, I'd rather have a soft Borough than the original leathers. I'm hoping (1) that they hit the regular line, (2) I can see one in person and (3) possibly get one at a discount. That's a big wish if it isn't even being produced, LOL.

I saw them in person in my FP store.

They had them at my FP store too this past weekend. I personally like the original Borough better but they were nice if you like a less structured bag.

Forgot to add that my FP Store is Mall of Georgia and the woman that helped me and Mom that day was Wanda. If you call, tell her Stud P says yo!

Good Luck!

My FP never seems to know anything. I go in with things I see here and they look it up and tell me it's not available...
Frustrating, because basically if I'm interested, I'm buying.
If you don't mind telling, what is your FP store?

I saw them at Chandler Fashion Center in Chandler, AZ last weekend.

I've seen the soft borough in person. I love the Earth color and as it was mentioned earlier, it is a less structured bag than the original. Also it has a magnetic closure. I personally prefer the original, bit more structured and with the zippers. I hope they make the original in Earth or the soft with at least one of the compartments with zippers . But no doubt, it is a gorgeous bag!

For me personally, I heard about the bag here. Read about it over a week ago, saw the pictures and then very shortly after went to FP and asked if they knew about it. My SA knew nothing about it but was able to look it up in the system using the style number and ordered it for me.

That's so strange. They were front and center in my store in front of a whole wall of original Boroughs. They had about three of them out on a table. I would wonder what Coach uses to decide where to send them to but I've read enough posts here at TPF to know not to think that hard.

The store at Penn Square Mall in Oklahoma City has had them for about a month. The first day I saw the Soft Boroughs there the SA was quick to tell me to grab one right then if I wanted it because it was a pilot product and they weren't sure how long they would be there or how many there would be. But, honestly I prefer the original - the polished and structured look is what drew me to the Borough in the first place. I did notice though, that on the inside of both outside sides of the Soft Borough, there is a zipper pocket that is almost the full size of the bag. So that's great for safety and organization. Earth is a great color though and I hope they make other bags in it - I think the Borough Town Tote in Earth would be amazing!

The store still had the Soft Boroughs out today - I thought it was odd - they were pushing them so hard a few weeks ago, but today when the store was full of men shopping for Mother's Day the SAs were not pushing them at all. They were pushing regular Boroughs and Georgies.

For those of you who have seen the loganberry-is the consensus for it to be a pretty dull color? I'm planning a colorful borough for my next purchase, and I'm deciding this and the bar-striped. Thanks!!
