Hello everyone! After reading all of the wonderful jewlery posts and asking a few questions of my own, I wanted to share my news with you all!

After a wonderful weekend in Napa, my boyfriend asked me to marry him! We were having dinner at Aubergine du Soleil and we were having our pre-dinner drinks outside when he got down on one knee and popped the question!

I love him and my new ring and I wanted to share it all with you!

I'm not a very good photographer so I apologize for the poor quality.

The ring is a bit big on me so I'm hoping if anyone has any suggestions so it fits better. Its sized so it passes over my knuckles but it flops around like crazy bcs my finger is so small. I fear that if we sized the ring smaller, I wouldn't be able to get it over my knuckle. Any suggestions to make it fit better?

hmm! I'm trying to upload my photo but I keep getting an error message saying its too big (3 mb .jpeg). Can anyone help me?

Congratulations on your engagement! To resize pictures, I use resize2mail.com. The directions are pretty easy. Once the website has resized your photo (scroll down to see it, this part confused me at first), right click to save it to your computer and then upload to tPF.

I resized it so it fits but it made my already crappy photo even crappier :confused1:

My ring is 2.5 ct set in a classic Leon Mege setting w/ the double claws. The claws are soo teeny tiny! He's truley an artist!

Can anyone please suggest sizing beads or the like to make my ring fit better? Will a jewler be able to add the sizing bead while I wear the ring? I worry that I wont be able to get the ring past my knuckle otherwise.

i have the skinny finger, big knuckle problem...i just wear my ring really tight..sometimes it is a challenge to get over the knuckle.

that ring is absolute perfection! congratulations!
