I got back my new CLs from the cobbler and... URGHHH!!!

Oh I am so happy that this all worked out in the end. My heart just sank when I first read your post, I too would be devastated. I hope that your cobbler waived the fees considering the heartache that you had to go through over his mistake!
You must feel so relieved now.

^ yep he did! hehe he only charged me for the simple pumps. thank goodness everything worked out or i'd be really upset, though i'm still a little sad over my pigalles (some parts of the red soles were filed off accidentally by his apprentice, urgh luckily it isn't that obvious). my sis was sad for me too when she saw me frowning at my shoes.
